The Plant Human Resources Manager role is an onsite, full-time position in Lee’s Summit, MO. Compensation is $120,000–$130,000 per year. The role partners with a plant manager and plant leadership team at a manufacturing facility to support operational and workforce objectives. The manager leads facility HR functions, including employee relations, staffing, retention, onboarding, training, payroll support, benefits administration, and compliance. The role develops and implements HR practices that support business goals, employee engagement, and compliance with employment laws and company standards.

What you'll do

• Partner with plant leadership on HR initiatives, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
• develop and administer HR policies and programs
• manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and staffing agency relationships
• conduct employee relations investigations and advise managers on performance and corrective actions
• maintain personnel records and compliance reports
• provide backup support for weekly payroll
• administer benefits and compensation programs
• manage workers’ compensation claims
• coordinate training and employee engagement initiatives
• travel may range from 0–25%.
