What you'll do

• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists and hygienists during procedures, treatments, and tests
• support patient histories, vital signs, charting, radiographs, and consent forms
• prepare and sanitize operatories and maintain equipment
• coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up requests
• reinforce after-care instructions and explain treatment plans
• sterilize instruments and prepare trays
• assist with emergency measures
• coordinate with dental staff and other departments
• follow HIPAA and OSHA requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.

Why this role

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited dental assistant program, Texas Board of Dental Examiners registration to perform radiographs, at least one year of chair-side and four-handed dentistry experience, and current CPR-BLS certification.
