The Male Overnight Caregiver — Dementia Care, 7 p.m.–7 a.m. role is onsite in the Brentwood, Green Hills, and Nashville, TN area, with pay of $25 per hour. Helping Hearts USA LLC is hiring for a client-specific in-home overnight case. The caregiver maintains a safe, calm, and supportive environment for a client with dementia or Alzheimer’s-related needs. The role combines overnight supervision, personal care, reassurance, documentation, and communication about changes in the client’s condition; music may be used when appropriate to support comfort.

What you'll do

• Remain awake and attentive throughout the shift
• monitor fall risks, wandering, and unsafe behavior
• respond to wake-ups, confusion, and restlessness
• use calm communication and gentle redirection
• assist with toileting, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, hygiene, repositioning, transfers, and mobility
• provide companionship and emotional reassurance
• prepare light snacks as appropriate and encourage hydration according to the care plan
• keep the immediate environment safe
• document observations and report changes.

Why this role
