Food Production Associate — First Shift

Job overview

The Food Production Associate role is onsite in Ferndale, MI, and pays $14 per hour. The associate supports food production for Nesco Resource’s long-time client. The role helps keep production operations safe, sanitary, and on schedule by preparing and operating assigned machinery, checking packaged products, and following quality procedures. Associates may cross-train across departments and work overtime as production demands.

What you'll do

• Verify and retrieve correct cups, lids, and labels
• retrieve product
• inspect packages for nonconformities, dates, and seals
• follow safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• prepare paperwork and machine supplies
• set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot assigned machinery
• complete shift paperwork
• maintain a clean workspace and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
