What you'll do

• Build industry and regional product expertise
• engage local companies and vendors
• support preferred-supplier product offerings
• use purchasing systems to set up and maintain items, manage overstocks and returns, maintain lead-time and purchase-order data, resolve shortages and discrepancies, and support receiving teams
• execute purchase orders and transfers
• maintain fill-rate, inventory-turn, and days-on-hand metrics
• support procurement decisions with sales or other protections.
