The Quality Control Analytical Chemist role is onsite in Albany, NY. Pay is $23–$29 per hour, based on education and related experience. Eurofins PSS provides mission-critical testing services to pharmaceutical, medical device, food, cosmetic, and consumer products clients. The chemist performs and reviews GMP testing of pharmaceutical materials and samples, supports investigations and method-transfer work, and manages reference standards. This work helps ensure testing follows approved methods, specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Conduct and review testing under approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirements
• follow GMP regulations, 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and applicable ICH guidelines
• test pharmaceutical in-process, raw material, intermediate, API, and stability samples
• participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification
• support OOS, OOT, and invalid-result investigations
• use analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, conductivity, specific rotation, titration, and TGA
• manage reference standards
• test and review elemental impurities and residual solvents.
