What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to form a complete unit.
• Position, align, and level parts to be assembled.
• Fit parts together and secure them with screws, bolts, clamps, rivets, or solder.
• Operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, and other equipment.
• Examine final products for defects and make adjustments as needed.
