What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and clinical operations across assigned ophthalmology locations in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia
• partner with the Senior Vice President of Operations on standardized policies and workflows
• monitor performance metrics, patient flow, and throughput
• manage regional budgets, revenue cycle workflows, and operating expenses
• analyze productivity, physician schedules, and staffing
• lead facility management, capital requests, procurement, and vendor relations
• direct, mentor, and evaluate Practice Managers and local staff
• collaborate with clinicians and Human Resources on operations and workforce needs.

Why this role

Requires at least 3 years of progressive medical practice management or healthcare practice operations experience; ophthalmology or optometry experience is highly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Must reside locally in Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia and travel frequently between regional sites, with travel of up to 50–60%.
