Job overview

The Technology Implementation Technician role is onsite at Blue Mantis’s Technology Innovation Center in Pawtucket, RI, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with customer-site work when scheduled and travel across New England as needed. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. Blue Mantis helps clients modernize data center and IT operations and use cloud technologies. The technician prepares and deploys endpoint devices and supports related warehouse operations, helping deliver accurate, timely device configuration and installation projects for customers.

What you'll do

• Prepare, assemble, image, configure, test, clean, pack, and label computers and related IT equipment
• install operating systems, firmware, drivers, and approved software
• use endpoint deployment tools
• perform basic hardware troubleshooting, warranty repair, and quality checks
• support shipping, receiving, inventory, asset tagging, order fulfillment, and device delivery
• maintain device, inventory, project, and quality records under documented procedures and ISO 9001 requirements
• and assist with migrations, customer engagements, data center moves, and other projects. Non-local travel may be required up to 25%.
