Specimen Collector

Job overview

The Specimen Collector role is onsite in Bremerton, WA. Compensation is $18–$21.75 per hour. Millennium Health is an accredited specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinical decision-making. The role collects and processes patient urine and oral-fluid specimens, records and resolves order information, and serves as a link between clinics and the laboratory. This work supports accurate specimen handling and responsive service to patients, clinicians, and the laboratory.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and/or oral-fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• relay information between clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician-order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information
• maintain onsite collection supplies
• observe collections when applicable
• driving between facilities may be required.
