Corporate Counsel – SaaS and Commercial Contracts

The Corporate Counsel – SaaS and Commercial Contracts role is hybrid in Irvine, CA, with onsite work expected each Tuesday and Wednesday. Compensation is $120,000–$140,000 per year. Restaurant365 provides a cloud-based platform for restaurant accounting and back-office operations; the counsel reports to the Head of Legal and joins a small legal team. The role provides practical legal advice on company operations and supports the administration of the legal department. It handles commercial agreements and contributes to work involving privacy, product issues, disputes, investigations, compliance, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, governance, financing, and emerging legal risks.

What you'll do

• Negotiate, draft, review, and advise on customer, vendor, and partner agreements and NDAs
• work with Deal Desk to improve contracting processes and contract automation
• support legal matters involving privacy and security, products, litigation, investigations, ethics and compliance, employment law, and M&A
• assist with governance, financing, and equity matters
• collaborate with colleagues and outside counsel
• research and anticipate legal risks
• advise leadership
• maintain knowledge of company operations and legal documents.
