The engineer administers, modernizes, and secures a mixed Windows, Citrix, and physical security infrastructure. The work includes maintaining systems, updating end-of-life software, integrating video equipment, implementing security controls, and documenting configuration changes to support operational reliability and compliance.

What you'll do

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory domain controllers and Group Policy
• operate, maintain, and optimize Citrix servers
• plan and execute software updates and patches for end-of-life application components
• support integration and configuration of DVR and camera equipment
• implement technical fixes and configurations to meet DISA STIG and NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 requirements
• maintain configuration control and document updates to compute, storage, and networking hardware.

Why this role

Six-month task. Requires 7+ years of Windows systems administration, Active Directory, and Citrix/virtualization engineering experience; hands-on physical security equipment experience; IAT Level II or higher certification; and an active DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance. Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience is required.
