Director of Celebrations (Activities Director)

The Director of Celebrations (Activities Director) role is onsite in Chelmsford, MA. Compensation is $20 per hour. The role supports residents of Summer Place, a Provincial Senior Living independent-living community, through lifestyle programming and resident engagement. The director develops and oversees activities that promote residents’ health, well-being, engagement, and growth. The role leads the Celebrations department, coordinates programs and volunteers, and uses resident feedback to keep activities aligned with residents’ interests.

What you'll do

• Plan and conduct lifestyle programs and special events
• recruit and develop service resources
• prepare and distribute event calendars and newsletters
• lead the lifestyle program and coordinate the community library
• manage supplies and budget drafts
• supervise volunteers and coordinators
• maintain participation and satisfaction records
• develop and analyze resident surveys
• support compliance with applicable independent-living regulations.
