Assistant Teacher

What you'll do

• Plan classroom activities with the teacher
• support daily routines and classroom activities
• assist children with daily needs
• observe and support individual and group progress toward IEP goals
• conduct class and maintain attendance records in the teacher’s absence
• participate in case conferences and parent-teacher conferences
• supervise children
• maintain a safe, clean learning environment
• follow day-care regulations
• attend staff meetings and training
• report incidents and concerns to the teacher or director.
