What you'll do

• Perform general maintenance and repair of ready-mix trucks, ensuring equipment reliability and safe operation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to keep equipment in top working condition.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and listen to machines to identify causes of malfunctions.
• Operate mobile equipment, including service trucks.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on service vehicles.
• Service and maintain pumps, motors, and related components.
• Weld, repair, and fabricate metal parts or assemblies.
• Purchase repair parts and materials.
• Provide on-site service support at other BURNCO plants or job sites.
• Assist in training and mentoring co-workers.
• Follow all BURNCO safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma is considered an asset

Experience

Minimum of one year of truck mechanic experience required.
