The Materials / Civil Engineer – Research and Development role is onsite in Hialeah, FL. Pay is $80,000–$85,000 per year. The engineer joins Sileto Technologies’ R&D team to support development and testing of polymer concrete and advanced construction materials. The role turns research objectives into controlled experiments, reliable test results, and practical recommendations. Its work supports improved material formulations, processing methods, scale-up, and product qualification.

What you'll do

• Prepare, mix, cast, consolidate, and cure polymer concrete specimens with batch traceability
• execute experimental plans and document materials, processing, and test parameters
• perform or coordinate material tests using applicable ASTM methods
• characterize materials using viscosity, DSC, FTIR, granulometry, and density or packing measurements
• analyze data and investigate variability and outliers
• maintain SOPs, records, equipment logs, calibration information, and safe laboratory practices
• support material screening, scale-up, and qualification
• travel to customer, supplier, partner, and project sites as needed.
