Staff Accountant

Job overview

The Staff Accountant role is hybrid, with in-person work Tuesdays in San Francisco and Wednesdays in Sausalito, CA, and remote work available three days per week. The stated salary range is $80,000–$85,000 per year. Reporting to the Controller, the accountant manages accounts receivable and supports general ledger and month-end close work, maintaining accurate financial records and helping the company meet reporting and audit needs.

What you'll do

• Manage accounts receivable for trade orders and subtenant income
• review and reconcile invoices and customer deposits
• prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and analyze variances
• calculate royalties and commissions
• maintain sales tax exemptions and item tax mapping
• administer corporate card and expense software
• manage fixed asset accounting
• support projects, financial reporting, and audits.
