Pharmacy Intake Coordinator

Job overview

The Pharmacy Intake Coordinator works onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $23–$25 per hour. The role supports Amerita’s home infusion Intake team and reports to the General Manager. The coordinator helps ensure new patient referrals are cleared and admissions are processed promptly. By gathering and entering patient, clinical, and insurance information and coordinating with sales, pharmacy, access, and clinical staff, the role supports timely home infusion services and clear communication about coverage and payment responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Process referrals and confirm required documentation and intake checklists are complete
• enter patient demographic, clinical, insurance, and authorization information
• coordinate referral status and authorization requirements with Sales, Access, and clinical staff
• verify insurance and confirm financial responsibility before initial shipment
• document progress notes
• notify patients and caregivers about coverage and payment responsibilities
• protect confidential information.
