Senior GAAP Accountant

Job overview

The Senior GAAP Accountant position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite travel to Washington, DC, approximately one to two times per month. The salary range is $100,000–$150,000 per year. What you'll do

• Analyze cost flows, overhead pools, capitalization, and work-breakdown-structure-aligned costs
• apply GAAP standards
• support monthly and quarterly adjudication, reconciliation, and reviews
• identify discrepancies and potential misallocations
• prepare audit-ready documentation and recommendations
• communicate findings to leadership and government customers.
