The Paratransit Bus Operator (Non-CDL) role is onsite in Hapeville, GA. Training pay is $16.00 per hour; post-training pay is $17.00–$20.00 per hour based on verified experience, performance, and attendance. The Operations / Transportation department provides transportation for passengers with disabilities and other eligible riders. The operator safely transports passengers on assigned routes while assisting with boarding and mobility-device securement, following applicable regulations, and maintaining reliable service in a 24/7 operation.

What you'll do

• Transport passengers according to assigned routes and manifests
• assist with boarding, securement, and de-boarding, including mobility devices
• comply with DOT, ADA, company, and traffic regulations
• inspect vehicles before and after trips and report defects
• communicate with dispatch
• complete trip documentation
• respond professionally to disruptions and passenger concerns
• maintain a clean vehicle and use defensive driving techniques.
