The Senior Process Automation Engineer role is onsite in Norwalk, CT, with regional travel to Southern Connecticut and the Tarrytown area and travel to client sites as needed. Compensation is not specified. E Tech Group provides engineering and system integration services, including IT automation and control solutions for life sciences, mission-critical, metals and mining, warehousing and distribution, and consumer packaged goods and food and beverage industries. The engineer develops and implements process automation and integrated control systems, contributing technical expertise across design, configuration, testing, implementation, startup, and training. The role helps project teams deliver client solutions by coordinating technical work, schedules, budgets, and deliverables and by troubleshooting systems at customer sites.

What you'll do

  • Lead or contribute to project teams designing, configuring, and testing continuous and batch control applications
  • coordinate project work, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • advise project leadership and customers
  • travel as needed for design, development, and control-system startup
  • serve as an automation subject matter expert
  • develop PLC and HMI applications
  • support system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and qualification.
