The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Specialist role is onsite in Monroeville, OH. Compensation is not specified. The position supports recruiting and general human resources functions across JHI Group, which includes Janotta & Herner and Firelands Fabrication. Working under the HR Director, the specialist helps attract and hire qualified employees and provides day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle. The role coordinates recruiting, onboarding, workforce development, and HR administration to support consistent processes and a positive candidate and employee experience.

What you'll do

• Support full-cycle recruiting
• develop and maintain job descriptions and job postings
• source and screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interviews, and prepare offers with the HR Director and hiring managers
• maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting reports
• coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new-hire check-ins
• support employee questions and offboarding
• coordinate campus recruiting, career events, workforce programs, and the Co-Op Program
• assist with employee engagement, training, performance reviews, surveys, HR communications, and other HR projects.
