It leads maintenance staff, coordinates vendors and residents, and manages work orders and project records so repairs and renovation work can be scheduled and followed through.

What you'll do

• Assign, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance work orders
• lead and coordinate six maintenance technicians
• schedule repairs with contractors and vendors and obtain pricing
• maintain work orders, notes, photos, invoices, bill backs, and follow-up items in Rent Manager
• communicate with residents and property management
• coordinate maintenance resources with the rehab team
• coordinate single-vendor renovation projects
• as experience grows, assist with estimating and bidding
• manage the maintenance on-call rotation and assist with after-hours coordination when necessary
• improve systems, efficiency, accountability, and labor use.
