Groundskeeper

What you'll do

• Maintain yard equipment and perform routine grounds maintenance
• remove snow
• mow and trim grass, mulch and bag leaves, remove yard waste and weeds
• prune bushes, trees, and shrubs
• spray for weeds and insects as directed and report plant damage
• fertilize, water, and landscape as directed
• follow maintenance schedules and instructions
• respond to fire alarms and notify supervisors of emergencies
• perform light plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance as directed
• replace bulbs
• maintain floors and carpets
• transport residents as needed
• deliver specimens when requested by Nursing
• maintain service vehicles
• run errands
• dispose of garbage and hazardous materials safely
• assist with campus security
• report supply and equipment needs
• attend training.
