Lead Data Protection Engineer, Active Top Secret Clearance

Clear Creek Federal supports mission-critical federal civilian, defense, and intelligence community customers as part of Seneca Nation Group. The role leads enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery engineering and operations to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of federal enterprise data. It provides technical direction to a six-person engineering team and coordinates with infrastructure, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, network, and systems teams to maintain recoverable, compliant systems.

What you'll do

• Lead six Data Protection Engineers
• design, implement, configure, optimize, and maintain Commvault solutions
• oversee backup, replication, restoration, and disaster-recovery operations across on-premises and VMware environments
• manage monitoring, reporting, incidents, and compliance
• support migration from legacy backup technologies including Avamar
• develop retention and recovery strategies
• conduct root-cause analysis, audits, and performance assessments
• create documentation and executive reporting
• and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Requires an active Commvault certification, at least eight years of relevant experience, three years in a technical lead or team leadership capacity, and an active Top Secret clearance or Secret clearance with willingness and ability to obtain Top Secret.
