Material Handler & Equipment Operator

Job overview

The Material Handler & Equipment Operator role is onsite in Charter Township of Clinton, MI. Compensation is $18–$23 per hour. The position supports Rapid Die Cut’s manufacturing operations. The role keeps production supplied and jobs moving by handling and tracking materials, supporting shipping and receiving, and operating material-conversion equipment. Accurate inventory movement, organized staging, and communication about shortages help maintain production flow and safety and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate skiving saws, slitters, flash cutters, and other converting machinery
• manage and stage raw materials and work-in-process
• support shipping, receiving, inventory, material organization, and cycle counting
• use ERP/inventory software, barcode scanners, and tablets to track material movement
• load, unload, label, identify, and store materials
• maintain material queues and communicate shortages or issues affecting production
• follow safety, quality, and work-instruction requirements.
