Resource Planner

Job overview

The Resource Planner role is an onsite position based in Kahului, HI, with a salary range of $89,100 to $111,500 per year. This role supports the Resource Planning Department at Hawaiian Electric, a major utility provider serving 95 percent of Hawaii's residents. This role exists to serve as the subject matter expert for creating job packages and scheduling maintenance and repair work for T&D Operations and Substation assets. The planner ensures the safe and efficient completion of scheduled work by coordinating resources, materials, and equipment.

What you'll do

• Develop work scopes for customer, system, corrective, and preventive maintenance.
• Plan work procedures, identify materials, and order equipment.
• Create schedules to coordinate personnel and vendors.
• Monitor work progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Prepare reports on resource needs and availability.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

3-5 years experience in estimating, planning, or scheduling of construction, maintenance or operations activities.
