What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI
• integrate databases, enterprise systems, and external services
• collaborate with front-end developers
• participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• support CI/CD, containerization, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• apply secure coding, logging, and auditing practices aligned with federal and DoD requirements
• optimize performance and maintainability
• document applications, APIs, and deployment processes
• collaborate with data and AI/ML teams as needed.
