What you'll do

• Admit, evaluate, and treat patients
• complete psychiatric and medical assessments and required documentation
• prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
• educate patients about medications and treatment
• participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge planning
• prepare court reports and attend hearings as an expert witness
• collaborate with physicians and hospital staff
• provide on-call coverage when needed and respond to standard or emergency situations.
