The Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) - Evening Shift is an onsite role based in Sioux Falls, SD. Compensation is $19.50 - $28.00 per year, and this position supports the nursing team at the Good Samaritan Society – Canistota facility. This role exists to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. The Medication Assistant ensures the physical and psychological well-being of residents by administering prescribed medications and assisting with daily living activities to maintain a high quality of life.

What you'll do

• Administer prescribed medications
• assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• record vital signs
• provide psycho-social support
• assist with resident transfers
• document care outcomes
• communicate resident condition changes to the charge nurse.
