The Program Assistant, After-School Enrichment role is onsite in Arlington, VA, at 25 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours for six summer weeks; compensation is $25 per hour. AHC’s Resident Services team supports educational, economic mobility, health and wellness, and community engagement programs for residents. This role helps deliver after-school enrichment for elementary and teen students in a multifamily community. It supports learning and recreation by preparing activities, assisting with homework, supervising students, maintaining behavior expectations, and preparing the community room.

What you'll do

• Help plan and prepare educational and recreational activities
• provide snacks
• assist students with homework and activities
• oversee elementary and teen after-school activities, taking the lead when other site staff are unavailable
• support behavior management
• set up and clean the community room
• collaborate on other tasks.
