Moulder Assistant — First Shift

The Moulder Assistant — First Shift position is onsite in East Berlin, PA, and pays $18 per hour. Pennwood Products makes hardwood treads, risers, mouldings, and custom products, with a focus on product quality and safe production. The role supports moulding production by stacking and grading mouldings, applying wood filler, and sanding pieces. During downtime, the assistant helps with cleaning, banding, and setup; other department tasks may be assigned when necessary.

What you'll do

• Stack mouldings onto a cart
• grade pieces to specifications
• apply wood filler and use a hand sander
• during downtime, clean the moulder and department, band mouldings, and assist with setup when possible. When necessary, may stack in the Rough Mill, package products, operate the Resaw, catch mouldings in Sanding, or clean production equipment in other departments.
