What you'll do

• Repair and tune vehicles
• diagnose mechanical problems
• service fuel, electrical, and brake systems
• disassemble and repair gasoline or diesel engines
• repair transmissions, differentials, compressors, gears, hydraulic couplings, steering, cooling, and electrical systems
• install engines
• perform minor body work
• maintain a clean work area.
