What you'll do

• Process prescription orders, fill and dispense new prescriptions and refills, and counsel patients on medications, side effects, interactions, and expected outcomes
• reconcile vendor medication orders
• maintain pharmacy automation equipment and inventory, including controlled-drug records
• maintain pharmacy records and comply with HIPAA, safety, infection-control, and Joint Commission requirements.
