What you'll do

• Answer calls and greet visitors
• qualify orders by diagnosis and insurance coverage
• verify reimbursement information and explain customer financial responsibility
• enter orders and changes
• process work orders, paperwork, and prescriptions
• arrange delivery or pickup
• resolve complaints and follow up
• audit delivery, pickup, and exchange paperwork
• track rentals, reorders, and equipment maintenance
• obtain prior authorizations and physician orders
• process billing, insurance, denials, inquiries, and paperwork
• maintain patient files
• instruct customers or caregivers in safe equipment use and obtain required signatures.
