The Life Skills Direct Support Professional role is an onsite, full-time position in Red Hook, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $18.75–$21.75 per hour. In Flight supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings through its ISAIL independent-living program. The professional supports individuals in building daily living skills, independence, self-advocacy, and community participation. The role follows individualized service plan outcomes and provides instruction, supervision, and protective oversight while supporting personal choice and inclusion.

What you'll do

• Support people in achieving individualized service plan outcomes
• assist and supervise in their chosen environments
• support community integration and program planning
• teach daily living, hygiene, and self-care skills
• support money management, travel training, social skills, safety, and self-advocacy
• document services
• maintain professional conduct
• meet monthly with a supervisor.

Why this role
