Building Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Building Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Fremont, CA, at $20–$22 per hour. Cogir Senior Living operates senior living communities and focuses on enriching residents’ lives through care. The technician maintains building systems, equipment, and appliances and completes repairs promptly in line with operating and safety standards. The work helps preserve the community’s facilities and prepare rooms for incoming residents.

What you'll do

• Perform routine electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor-care, pressure-washing, and appliance repairs
• complete scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance
• repair vacated rooms for move-in
• maintain common areas
• track supplies, inventory, and work records
• communicate with inspectors and local authorities
• follow applicable codes and safety standards.
