Certified Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Champaign, IL, with pay of $16–$18 per hour. Community Health Partnership of Illinois provides primary and preventive care to migrant and seasonal farmworkers and other medically underserved populations. This role supports physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering efficient, patient-centered care. The assistant helps with examinations and procedures, gathers and documents clinical information, performs routine tests within scope, and supports patient education and clinic operations.

What you'll do

• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• obtain and document medical histories and vital signs
• prepare examination rooms, supplies, and equipment
• perform routine laboratory tests and clinical procedures within scope
• administer medications as directed
• schedule appointments and maintain records
• educate and support patients
• maintain a safe clinical environment
• follow regulations, policies, and confidentiality requirements
• collaborate with the healthcare team.
