The Electrical Switching Coordinator (Utility) role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST, at $69 per hour. The coordinator supports the Distribution Grid Operations team and critical electric grid operations. The role develops and coordinates switching plans so maintenance and construction work across the NSP distribution system can be carried out safely. It coordinates approvals, scheduling, documentation, and communication among the Control Center and Grid Operations teams.

• Prepare electrical switching requests and plans
• coordinate with Control Center and Grid Operations
• ensure compliance with safety, clearance, and tagging requirements
• prioritize plans for outages and maintenance
• route plans for approval and revisions
• schedule approved plans
• answer Control Center questions
• maintain system records
• support process improvement.
