What you'll do

• Assist with classroom tasks and routines
• prepare materials and lessons with the classroom teacher
• help students complete assignments
• attend to behavioral and medical needs
• maintain an organized classroom
• communicate students’ social, emotional, physical, and academic needs to the teacher
• maintain confidentiality
• build supportive relationships with children and families
• help maintain a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom
• provide morning hallway and classroom supervision and afternoon dismissal supervision
• assist with planned lessons and routines when the classroom teacher is absent.
