Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager role is onsite in Cedar Falls, IA. Pay is $14–$17 per hour. Buff City Soap’s mission is to make handmade products with plant-based ingredients, produced fresh daily in its soap makeries. The assistant manager supports store performance and operational excellence by supervising daily makery operations, coaching team members, and helping deliver a strong client experience. The role also supports sales, production, inventory, and the store manager’s revenue and expense goals.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage daily makery operations
• model client-centric service, personal sales, and quality product creation
• maintain a clean professional environment
• set goals for team members
• coach and train staff
• track raw materials, finished products, and supplies
• generate sales reports and maintain inventory and production
• assist the Store Manager with revenue and expenses.
