The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role is crucial for ensuring the physical and psychological well-being of residents through age-appropriate care and support.

What you'll do

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
• Assists residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes in condition to the charge nurse.

What we're looking for

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.

Experience

High school graduate or GED preferred. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
