People Operations Coordinator

Job overview

The People Operations Coordinator is an onsite position in Irvine, CA, paying $25–$30 per hour. The role supports Turion Space’s growing team and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. The coordinator keeps day-to-day people operations organized, supports onboarding and offboarding, and serves as a contact for employee questions. The role also assists with payroll, benefits, HR initiatives, recruiting coordination, and general office administration to support effective team operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain filing systems, office supplies, and equipment
• greet visitors and business partners
• coordinate onboarding and offboarding, materials, and training schedules
• maintain employee records
• respond to employee questions about HR policies and benefits
• assist with payroll and benefits administration
• support performance reviews, engagement surveys, team-building activities, events, and recognition programs
• help develop HR policies and procedures
• gather and analyze HR metrics
• assist with interview scheduling and applicant tracking
• provide general administrative support.
