What you'll do

• Inspect parts for defects
• set up and operate manual surface grinding equipment to tight tolerances
• verify dimensions against blueprints and specifications
• inspect parts from other departments
• identify blueprint issues
• fixture complex parts and develop manufacturing methods
• diagnose equipment or process issues
• suggest process improvements
• record job times and production data.
