What you'll do

• Follow triage protocols, policies, and procedures
• answer and route phone notes
• process pre-operative outpatient labs and enter pre-hydration orders when needed for provider review and signature
• process home health and hospice requests and insurance and pharmacy notifications
• assist the echo department with bubble studies and EFT testing
• complete departmental tasks including voicemails, flags, refills, and clearances
• respond to emergencies and code calls
• handle biohazardous materials according to policy.
