Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job overview

The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician role is onsite at IMRIS headquarters in Chaska, MN, with compensation of $29–$33 per hour. IMRIS develops integrated intraoperative MRI and imaging environments intended to support clinical decision-making and surgical precision. The technician independently assembles, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs medical-device assemblies to specifications and quality standards. The role also supports production efficiency through collaboration, mentoring, and improvements to work instructions and manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Assemble, wire, program, test, and package electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• conduct functional testing
• troubleshoot and adjust equipment
• analyze defective units, document root causes, and perform repairs
• record quality discrepancies
• collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians on production issues and improvements
• participate in cross-training
• solder wires and terminals
• assist with written work instructions.
