What you'll do
- Direct Certified Nursing Assistants’ daily activities and ensure staff follow facility policies
- participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
- monitor and document resident condition changes
- transcribe and carry out physician orders
- administer medications and monitor for adverse effects
- perform ordered wound treatments and other direct nursing care
- coordinate follow-up appointments and transportation
- guide unit personnel
- conduct rounds
- collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- update care plans
- monitor supplies and equipment
- report incidents and participate in regulatory surveys as needed.
