The Principal Associate Scientist, Biology role is an onsite position in Cambridge, MA. The base salary range is $108,000–$128,000 per year. The scientist designs and executes cellular and molecular experiments to characterize Helicon candidates and advance preclinical oncology programs. The role generates decision-enabling data and scientific recommendations that inform lead optimization, candidate nomination, and translational and clinical opportunities.

What you'll do

• Design, optimize, execute, and troubleshoot cell-based assays
• develop and apply cellular and molecular assays across 2D and 3D models
• qualify assay systems and disease-relevant models
• investigate sensitivity and resistance and develop biomarker hypotheses
• collaborate with Translational Biology, DMPK, and in vivo Pharmacology colleagues
• present results and recommendations
• maintain complete, traceable experimental records and uphold data integrity and reproducibility.
