What you'll do

• Lead and develop coding and auditing staff
• oversee workflows, work queues, staffing, budgets, and performance
• standardize policies and controls
• manage internal and external coder audits
• ensure accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding and charge capture
• partner with providers on documentation
• oversee coding, billing, and documentation audits
• monitor claim editing and encoding systems
• develop coding and billing education
• analyze denials and implement prevention strategies
• monitor KPIs and report performance and risks to leadership.

Why this role
