The Chief Assayer role is onsite in Elko, NV; compensation is not specified. Jerritt Canyon is evaluating and planning technical work to support a potential future restart of its gold mine. This senior technical leader oversees the assay laboratory and analytical functions so reliable, traceable results can support exploration, geology, mining, processing, metallurgical testing, grade control, and production decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead assay laboratory operations
• establish analytical methods, procedures, and QA/QC programs
• oversee sample preparation and analytical techniques
• review and approve results
• investigate discrepancies and quality failures
• maintain records and equipment
• manage supplies, budgets, and laboratory staff
• support audits and reporting
• coordinate with geology, exploration, operations, metallurgy, processing, and environmental teams.
